Lundy
If you feel inspired by the view of Lundy from Little Barton, you can make a day trip out to it to snorkel, fish, walk, birdwatch (Lundy actually means puffin island and if you're lucky you might see one) or swim with the dolphins and seals. You can get there on a big boat The Oldenburg or smaller chartered boat.
The Oldenburg
The Oldenburg is a lovely old boat with original panelling and brass fittings. It has a bar and food. Sailing to Lundy up to four times a week from Bideford (30 mins drive) it can carry 267 passengers. The journey to or from Lundy usually takes less than two hours.
